By GustavoLeao / 18:47, 14 February 2005 / Enterprise

The German TrekNews.de website posted a brief, exclusive interview with STAR TREK ENTERPRISE guest-actor Vaughn Armstrong, in which he talks about the show's cancellation, and his appearance as the Mirror Universe counterpart of 'Admiral Forrest' in the "In a Mirror, Darkly" two-parter. Here are a few excerpts, translated from the German.

Armstrong said that the cancellation was "a sad thing, but we all knew that it would come to that. The actors are naturally shocked, but they will deal with this, after all they are professionals. On the other hand, I think this is terrible for the behind the scenes crew. Many of them are working together for almost 20 years, and now it is time to end this. It is like losing its wife, a very sad thing!"

About playing the evil Forrest, he said "I think this role is completely new for me, because he is very different from our Admiral Forrest. He is cruel and arrogant; and besides he is called Maximilian and not Maxwell. It was a delight to play this madly character."

The original report (in German) can be found here.
