According to IGN, IMGlobal company is currently selling the 3-D "Judge Dredd" movie reboot, starring Star Trek star Karl Urban, at the Toronto Film Festival, but calling the movie simply Dredd. In addition, IM also provided an official synopsis :
"Dredd" takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot - if necessary.
Plus, actress Olivia Thirlby (photo) has joined the cast of Dredd, reports Variety.
Thirlby will play Judge Cassandra Anderson, a psychically powered rookie Judge who teams with Judge Joe Dredd (Karl Urban) for training. In the Judge Dredd comic book, Anderson goes on to lead the city's Psi Division, maintaining an uneasy friendship with Dredd.
