SF Gate posted a new video interview with Star Trek The Motion Picture star Stephen Collins, who played Commander Willard Decker in the 1979 Star Trek movie directed by Robert Wise. Here is an excerpt of the video interview.

Asked about his opinion on the new Star Trek movie, Mr Collins said "I loved it. This is weird, but I'm not really a Star Trek afficianado, and so I haven't seen a lot of the movies. But the new one, I think is just a terrific movie in every way. It's just a good movie on its own right. You have to have ever seen Star Trek to love (this one). I think Chris Pine is a huge find. J.J. Abrams just did an incredible job."

The full video interview is here.

We all know it should read:

"Yet Another Trek Alum Sells Out to JJ."
