Features

By GustavoLeao / 19:40, 8 March 2010 / People

News.com.au posted an interview with Star Trek and Avatar star Zoe Saldana (Uhura) and here are excerpts from the article.

Saldana runs through the A to Z of her life in the new issue of Essence magazine.

When she reached S, 31-year-old the letter in her life stands for sex.

"Love it, love it, love it, ... Can't live without it," she declares.

"I love sex. I love skin. I don't believe the body is something to hide.

"I think in American society we're messing up our kids by taking away the education on and awareness of our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games - and we're breeding little criminals."

Asked if she would ever do a graphic sex scene in a film, Zoe replied: "If you asked a painter, 'Are you going to paint in red?' the answer would be, 'I'm going to paint paintings and if one day there is red in it, there's red in it'."

She loves sex. What a loser.

The central question that emerges . . . is whether the White community in the South is entitled to take such measures as are necessary to prevail, politically and culturally, in areas in which it does not prevail numerically? The sobering answer is Yes – the White community is so entitled because, for the time being, it is the advanced race. -- the eminent conservative rag, National Review

Upon reading this story, countless Trekkies sit in silence, wondering what this "sex" thing is that she's referring to. ;-)

they're gonna extend the Avatar sex scene for the Blu Ray | Report this post to moderator

I think it's kind of funny that Cameron said he intends to extend the Avatar sex scene for the blu ray release. You know that Avatar is going to be played on an endless loop to sell newfangled 3D high-def TV's. so it'd be like, "Hey, kids, let's sit down and watch this neato high-def 3D extravaganza demoed in the store..." and then they get that. At least Zoe gets to show some sex education, albeit it's blue and and involves people hooking up tails.

Awww... gross. She likes sex?

What a huge turn-off. I hate girls who like sex.

I thought I could relate to this actress. Now I just feel so isolated from her because of her comments.

I like that *THIS* article was a main news item vs. "actual" Star Trek related content that only makes it to "Tribblets"

Tomorrow's news items... "Shatner Likes Carbohydrates".

Thus began a million fanboys' fevered dreams.

The only other response I have is from two time Academy Award winning actor Tom Hanks's classic movie Bachelor Party, "Gentlemen, start your boners."
