Former Enterprise Producer Mike Sussman Says Legend of the Seeker is Not Cancelled, Plans Are Ongoing for Season 3

Last week KSiteTV posted a report saying that Tribune Company (owner of several television stations) felt that "ratings did not merit renewing the fantasy series Legend of the Seeker, which now has former Star Trek Enterprise star Jolene Blalock (above photo) in a recurring role,

But now former Star Trek Enterprise producer and Legend of the Seeker executive producer and writer Mike Sussman posted on his Twitter the following message that denies the show reported cancellation:

"Everyone, please, chillax. #LegendoftheSeeker has *not* been cancelled. Plans are ongoing for season three. Spread the word."

Thanks to TrekMovie for the tip.

Shades of ENTERPRISE? | Report this post to moderator

It does sound awfully familiar, doesn't it?

I've written a few letters and today I bought the 1st season on DVD, even tho I have all the eps already. This is about all we can do to try and get their attention.

I'd be willing to bet they could shop the show around if Tribune doesn't want to back it, but all the same, I just can't shake this feeling of Deja Vu...

they can make as many plans as they want, but if the production company funding them isn't going to be paying for the show anymore what does does it do?

How many times have we heard something like this before. No the show is not canceled plans are ongoing and it will be back. The message says nothing about it being renewed so like the topic said I'll believe it when I see it!
