This is obscene. That soundtrack sucked | Report this post to moderator

Its cues were in the wrong places and it sounded a lot like "Lost" because it has the same formulaic composer. To nominate this joker and not Mark Snow is preposterous.

Bear McCreary has done the best work of all of them in the last few years.

Grammys nominate jerks like Nickelback, Green Day, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, and Beyonce, so I'm not too bothered. It's mostly a popularity contest.

It was the best Star Trek soundtrack since Ciff Eidelman's Star Trek VI score, in my opinion.

I think so. It's a theme that'll leave you humming it after watching the movie. It was very Star Trek and fitted the atmostphere of the film quite well, I believe.
