TREKWEB.COM TO GIVE AWAY FIVE COPIES OF "STAR WRECK" FROM REVOLVER ENTERTAINMENT

Article by Bill Williams

TrekWeb.com is proud to announce its latest contest giveaway of the new comedy film "Star Wreck", released by Revolver Entertainment!

This feature-length parody, the first-ever Finnish science fiction adventure, took seven years in the making, combining action, comedy, zany characters, and top-notch visual effects. An ingenious band of five students and various contributors joined forces to create this laugh-out-loud comedy, which inspired them to begin work on their next production, "Iron Sky".

The Imperial Edition DVD release of "Star Wreck" also contains a full-length audio commentary, the documentary "Definitive Inside Out" (chronicling the making of "Star Wreck"), "Towards the ‘Iron Sky'" (a discussion of the forthcoming production), and bloopers.

Now you can win your very own copy of "Star Wreck"! Just send an e-mail with your name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address to bwilliams924@yahoo.com and you will be entered into the contest. In the header of your e-mail write Star Wreck Giveaway to be entered into the contest. Five names will be drawn at random from the entries received, and those five winners will receive their very own copy of the DVD. You must supply a valid mailing address and e-mail address with your entry. All entries must be submitted by no later than midnight Thursday, November 19, 2009.

An interesting movie that can draw you in to like it if you let it | Report this post to moderator

I remember this and downloaded it when it first came out. Enjoyed it overall. I still think it is a little better then Nemesis. What made up for the seldom lack of dialog in some spots was the zany off the wall characters. The comedy and the right mix of high quality action was great.

I must say that Commander Sherrypie as Pirks rival and for standing up for what was right against Pirk was so good. The chemistry of you two playing off of each other was noticed and cool. I do hope he is in the next movie giving Pirk a run for his money.

One of the scenes I hear was kind of awkward for the lead captain Pirk at the time was for him to run down the corridor as he just came out of the washroom to see what all the commotion was going on. As his ship was being fired at. So he had to run and his pants fell down hehe. And before that in the opening scene getting your first glimpse of Pirk he has toilet paper stuck to his foot, classic, to funny.

Also Pirk trying to pick up the woman at the fast food place and he is eating a hamburger and its all over his face hahaha, nice human element there.

I did notice a few words in the subtitles where miss spelled but for the most part it was accurate. Is there going to be an english track for this from you guys? in this new version or at a later time?

The scene I have to mention at the end when you three are left stranded on the ice planet talking around a fire, in the next movie does it show you getting off of the planet? I always wondered if you did.

Anyway good movie.

He is the Sisko, yes he is the Sisko
