First Look at Artwork for John Byrne's Leonard McCoy, Frontier Doctor Comic Book

Legendary writer/artist John Byrne posted on his foruns the first look at two pages of black-and-white artwork for the first issue of his upcoming Leonard McCoy, Frontier Doctor comic book mini series, set shortly before the events of Star Trek The Motion Picture and on sale March 2010.

I love the TMP era. I love John Byrne's writing and art. Love DeForest Kelley's Bones. The result ? This could be the best Star Trek mini series from IDW since Star Trek Countdown. Must have. Thanks, Chris Ryall and the IDW people.

I've always loved the "lost years" in the TOS story. I'll have to pick this up.
