Now that X-Men director Bryan Singer is developing a movie version of Battlestar Galactica, the real question is: What will everything look like?

Concept artist Eric Chu, writing in CinemaSpy, has come up with some cool designs (above) that hearken back to those of the 1978 TV series, with a few tweaks to update them.

Click over to see more of Chu proposed concept art for the upcoming Galactica movie.

Gustavo, unless I'm reading the article wrong, it says that this is just one artists idea of what the proposed film might look like, not official concept art for the project.

Please leave out any boxeys or daggits unless the target audience is 10 yr olds..and even then .. just leave them out will u!!

The Galactica does actually look pretty cool... but don't like the other designs, especially the Raiders!!

overall , still think theres no need for this , maybe in 10 yrs but not now... still, what do i know?

Still not sold on whether or not this movie is such a good idea at this point in time, but I do like that artwork.

Too bad the new movie won't have Edward James Olmos, but the designs look promising!
