By GustavoLeao / 20:10, 25 June 2009 / Star Trek: Nemesis

Last night at the Saturn Awards Collider.com asked Star Trek director J.J. Abrams if he was going to come back for the sequel.

While he didn't say yes or no, he said they've been having talks on the sequel right now and he's excited by the possibilities.

Here are a few points of the video interview

  • Says they've been having conversations about the sequel
  • Collider asked how he moves on from franchise to franchise
  • Abrams talks about the villain in the sequel
  • Comic-Con talk

You can watch the video interview with Abrans at Collider

If Mr Abrams are excited by the possibilities, I guess he will surprise fans again this time (at least, I hope so).

SWEET!

The idea that Khan will be discovered by the Borg and manages to overtake them (since they're smaller in number than in Picard's era) and lead them with the Kardassian armada to attack the Klingons, forcing Kirk to save his former/alternate timeline foils.

Can't wait.
