According to HitFix, speaking at a press conference today for "Revenge of the Fallen," Star Trek writer Roberto Orci gave a brief update on where the "Trek" sequel stands at that moment.
"We literally have not started to break story yet. We are just getting through all this ['Transformers' press] and then figuring out what we are doing next," Orci said. "We have had one ten-minute conversation the other day, but that is it."
The writer, who along with his partner Alex Kurtzman will also serve as a producer on the sequel, also noted that they were "absolutely" excited about coming back to the franchise.
Clarifying, Orci said, "Absolutely, we are excited to start thinking about the next movie."
