Cover Artwork for Second Issue of John Byrne's Romulans Schism Comic Book

Legendary writer/artist John Byrne posted in his forums the black-and-white artwork for the second issue of his upcoming Star Trek comic book mini series from IDW, Romulans Schism, on sale later this year. The cover features the character of Number One, the former first officer of Captain Christopher Pike, now a Commodore in command of the U.S.S. Yorktown.

Maybe he'll actually give her a name in this one! I don't see what the big deal is about giving her a name. He's danced around it in 'Crew'.

I'd like to think she went on to have a successful career in Starfleet. In a comic long ago, she was crippled by a shipping crate falling on her and I thought that sucked.
