First Cut of Star Trek Movie Screened at Paramount with Impressive Results

According to TrekMovie.com, director J.J. Abrams and his editors finished the first cut of the upcoming Star Trek movie and screened this first cut of the movie for Paramount boss Brad Grey and others executives late last week.

According to the site sources, the screening was a "hit" and the reaction was "far beyond expectations", leaving the studio executives "impressed" with the first cut of the movie.

Sounds good, but with the music still non-exsistant and most of the effects unfinished, I wonder how well can you judge the final outcome. And what makes Brad Gray (or any one person) qualified to speak for the crowd.
