Feb 05 | Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton and Denise Crosby will be part of Star Trek® TNG EXPOsed – a full-cast reunion of Star Trek: The Next Generation® to be held at the Calgary Expo April 27-29, 2012. The special reunion event will be held at Calgary Stampede Corral on the evening of Saturday, April 28, 2012. This auspicious occasion marks the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation® and will be the first time in over twenty years that the cast has participated in an event such as this. Included in the evening’s program is a 90 minute panel discussion, a Q&A session, and a video presentation in honour of the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation®. A commemorative guide will produced solely for this event along with exclusive merchandise. This is a separate ticketed event with tickets going on sale through Ticketmaster on February 18, 2012 at 10 AM MST. Although the cast will be participating in various panels throughout the course of the weekend, Star Trek® TNG EXPOsed will be the only opportunity to see all nine of the cast members in one incredible panel. Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.com and range from $40-$125 CDN.

X-Men-Movies.de posted several new photos from the upcoming X-Men 3 movie, including a new picture of Star Trek The Next Generation star Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier. Enjoy the pics !

According to 24 Hours Vancouver, Sir Ian McKellen, Stewart, Halle Berry and other cast members of X-Men 3 are expected back in Vancouver shortly to re-shoot some scenes for the epic sequel.

I find that encouraging. And as a megalomaniac, I choose to believe they're doing so because one of their head-honchos net-commentary-browser-boys logged on here, read my comments, passed it on in their briefing, and said head honcho thought "yeh, why are we risking shitcanning the X-series by pushing a crap film with cheap gimicks like shoving "Last" in the title anyway, why don't we try dropping the gimicks and re-shoot it to make a film that's worth seeing? that's so crazy it just might work!"

But in the end, for all the bravado, even the flaming kiddies must have their somethings-up alarm bells ringing 'ere.
In any case, *I* am encouraged they're doing re-shoots.
I'll be even happier if they dump the word "last" from the subtitle. Dumping the gimick will show more confidence in _the film_. (to me)
If they're going for Zombie Jean Grey, that flat red hair might work, if they're going for powerful Dark Phoenix, it'll work when the wind machine is blowing, if instead they're going for SLUT Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix, then I ..I give up.
I hope they have a female writer on board, because most male writers can't write powerful women for excrement.
Note to head-honcho: IF the film doesn't work at this point in time, please don't Sony Godzilla market it, you'll pay for it and in the long run you'll LOSE money unnecessarily and prematurely killing the franchise. Instead Shit-can it and start over, if it can't be salvaged. We'll wait.
And if it's good, then well, good! Can't wait! no harm done offering my suggs. I just want it to be good.
