    Holodeck
    The holodeck is primarily a recreational device, using advanced holographic imaging to project energy into matter that the participant can interact with. Holodeck use has been minimized due to the need to conserve energy resources.

    This is the upper section, the lower being on Deck 7.

    Auxiliary Computer Core
    The purpose of this system is to augement the primary computer core or take its place if is inoperative.
    This core extends upward into Deck 6.

    DECK 8 - Hydroponic Garden

    Hydroponic Garden
    Near the beginning of the series Kes converted cargo bay 2 into a hydroponic garden out of a need to conserve valuable replicator energy. Organic material can grow naturally here, and the environment can be controlled. The yield from this garden is then used as the primary food source for the crew.
